Liz Worley initially graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis and commissioned in the US Navy. She flew as a helicopter pilot in the Navy for 10 years, including serving overseas and as in instructor pilot and safety officer, during which time she earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
After leaving the Navy she changed her focus to nursing and medicine, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University in South Alabama and then a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a specialization and subsequent board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then she’s practiced in many settings, including rural primary care, skilled and assisted living facilities, walk-in clinics and nationwide telehealth.
Her approach to medicine is diverse and open-minded, with a main focus on meeting people where they are in order to help folks be their best selves. She feels that knowledge is power and that medicine is something everyone can understand- and helps patients understand the how and why of what they are experiencing enabling informed decisions about how to move forward.
