Not directly. While Evergreen Medical Wellness accepts HSA, FSA, and cash or credit card payments only, we are happy to provide paperwork from the visit called a “Superbill” which you are welcome to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. By running the business side of things in this fashion, it allows overall costs to remain much lower and for significantly more time to be spent with you.
The plan completely depends upon your goals as well as the history, laboratory findings, and best fit options to move forward. Weight loss plans are comprehensive and include multiple components, including lifestyle adjustments, medications, accountability and accountability tracking so that change will be sustainable and long-lasting. If it is determined that medications are appropriate, some of the options considered will be semaglutide, tirzepatide, Contrave, and phentermine. Peptides such as sermorelin, ipamorelin, and AOD 9604 are also incredibly helpful, as are some specific injectables.
Compounded medications are medications that are tailored to the needs of the patient. When your clinician works with you to determine what you need, you can work together to decide what and then how it will best to use those medications. The beauty of compounded medications is that you can get just the right amount of the medication you need by the best route.
We do the testing that’s appropriate. Based upon clinical and history, we will work together to order anything necessary to give needed information to solidify or follow-up on a treatment regimen. This could include blood or saliva testing, urine testing, imaging, or other diagnostic procedures. We draw labs in the office and we can also send orders anywhere for labs to be drawn- a fantastic option for telemedicine visits.
No, but it can be more cost effective for most services to utilize a membership, so you will have the opportunity to choose the care that fits you best.
The approach that Evergreen Medical Wellness takes with your care is open-minded and diverse. We utilize lifestyle change, prescription medications, compound medicines, referrals to specialists, exercise, and dietary change as possible ways to help you optimize your health. Each hormone optimization plan is based upon assessment of your overall goals, a detailed history and clinical symptoms overview, indicated laboratory testing, and an individualized plan to adjust hormone balance. For thyroid optimization we can use natural and synthetic medications. For men’s health we often utilize testosterone, but assess fertility as well to adjust the overall protocol accordingly. For women’s health we can use bioidentical hormones in different types of delivery methods. If appropriate, we can consider pellet insertion for men’s and women’s hormones.
When an assessment, clinical indications, laboratory testing and overall lifestyle and goals indicate that testosterone is an appropriate treatment- testosterone will be prescribed. Please keep in mind that an in-person or video consultation is required prior to any testosterone prescription being considered because testosterone is a controlled substance.
If you have a cell phone, tablet, or computer you can do a telehealth visit. The system used for telehealth visits is easy and intuitive to use, and allows for us to chat on video at the scheduled appointment time. Once you sign up for an appointment we send a link to your email / text that you click and the visit starts. Many consults can be completed this way, and this allows the convenience of being able to avoid the commute to the office. After hours telehealth consultations are certainly an option- just reach out to set up a time that is convenient for you.
A Doctor of Nursing Practice is a Nurse Practitioner who has completed a doctorate preparing them to practice as a clinical provider. They do all the same things that other clinicians do, such as taking detailed histories, determining diagnoses and differential diagnoses, ordering laboratory and imaging tests as appropriate, and crafting a plan with you to address your medical concerns. Nurse Practitioners are first trained by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, which prepares them to care for patients using all of the tools available including the medications/modalities ordered by other providers, as well as all of the non-medication options possible including working with lifestyle and within the family or community dynamic. By practicing medicine from this perspective, Nurse Practitioners use every possible modality to help their patients thrive.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are cancelling for an appointment Monday, we need to know by the end of the day Friday. We require the service fee for the visit be paid at the time of booking. This is done because we respect your valuable time but expect that you respect our time as well. We do realize that things will pop up unexpectedly. No-shows will only have the opportunity to reschedule once, and that will be on a case by case basis only.
